In order to benefit from the OA agreements, it is important that you as authors indicate the corresponding affiliation with the University of Stuttgart and use the corresponding e-mail address when submitting an article. It may be necessary to select the institution again at a later stage with an "Apply Discounts“ button or similar.
We also recommend choosing the Creative Commons license CC BY for the publication (often already preselected). When an article is funded by the OA Publication Fund, the CC BY licence is required.
If you wish to apply for funding (funding limit: EUR 2,400 gross) for an Gold Open Access article, you can submit a request for central funding via the OA Publication Fund. Please note the relevant requirements.
Exception: You can submit to the publishers Wiley, Springer Nature and Elsevier without an application. Invoicing and funding are handled centrally via the DEAL contracts.
